It was a fun and fulfilling business that allowed our firm to make environmental improvements one property at a time.

For my second career, I wanted to do something that would be more significant and have a lasting benefit to our beautiful planet earth, even long after I’m gone. Eliminating plastics form our environment was the seed from which Stardust was born.

The name was inspired by Joni Mitchell’s song Woodstock:

“We are Stardust, we are golden; We are billion year old carbon; And we’ve got to get ourselves back to the garden.”

This song was somewhat of an anthem for my generation and I always felt a special connection with it. We are all part of a big interconnected cycle of life and I am very proud to produce a product that literally returns ‘back to the garden’.
